Welcome to the Annunciation Church
Deus Providebit, God Provides
By virtue of our Baptism and Confirmation we are called by God and given tasks as Christians that not only fulfill the will of God but witness to Him and help bring His Kingdom here on earth. As members of His Church, and through His Church, we must fight the culture of death in our world.
We are fighting a spiritual battle. We must come together as Catholics and members of Annunciation Parish to pray and fight for the dignity of life given to us all by God, as we are all created in His image and likeness.

Living Out Christmas in the New Year
9 Days for Life
How do we live out the message of Christmas in the New Year,
rather than pack it away with the ornaments?
Each year, the Octave Day of Christmas falls on the first day of the New Year, on which we also celebrate the Solemnity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the Mother of God.
Her open heart and courageous "yes" to God show us how to live year-round—with hearts open to the Lord, following where He leads. We are called to place our trust in Him, to enter compassionately into the suffering of others, and to love one another as Christ loves us. Like Our Blessed Mother welcomed Jesus, we are called to cherish and protect
the gift of human life, at every stage and in every circumstance.
One way to live out the message of Christmas and follow Our Lady's example is to join 9 Days for Life, a novena for the protection of human life, taking place
Thursday, January 19 — Friday, January 27.
Printable PDF to circulate
Each day of the novena there is a different intention, prayers for that intention, a short reflection, suggestions for simple acts of reparation, and an optional link to a short informative article on topics such as understanding how to talk about abortion, how to talk to someone who is pregnant and thinking of having an abortion, and talking to someone who has had an abortion as well as other topics. In joining this novena, you can not only pray to end abortion everywhere, but also become better informed to help build a culture of life.
To join the novena, go to 9daysforlifecom from your computer or cell phone and click sign up.
You will be asked for your cell phone number and email. Once signed up beginning on January 19, the first day of the novena, you will receive either a text message or email that will bring you that days novena prayers and intentions.
We will mark the 1st and last days of the novena by praying those days together as a parish family.
We will join the 9 day novena with the monthly respect life rosary here at Annunciation. The rosary this month will be held on the 1st day of the novena, Thursday, January 19 at 5:00 pm in the Chapel. After the rosary, we will pray the 1st day of the novena together. We will also pray the last day of the novena after the morning Mass
on Friday, January 27 in the chapel.
There is information posted in the back of church about the novena
on the Respect Life Bulletin Board as well as in the bulletin.
Thank you.
